My Story

Hello and welcome! I’m Evolet Kong, and I’m so thrilled that you’ve stopped by. As a child, I found in books my magic to a world of possibility: where dreams know no boundaries.

Growing up in a noisy household with eight siblings in itself was an adventure. Every night, my father would put us all together in the living room, and that would just about set up a cozy nook of storytelling. His tales sparked our imagination and opened our hearts to the wonders of storytelling. Those nights filled with his enchanting words made me believe that every story holds a universe of possibilities waiting to be explored. From that moment on, I was captivated by the magic of stories!

Some of my greatest inspirations are the legendary authors Dr. Seuss, Roald Dahl, and Hans Christian Andersen. Their fairy tales and whimsical rhymes have left a lasting imprint on my soul. I’ve poured over their works time and time again, each reading revealing new insights and fueling my belief in happily-ever-after and the beauty of imagination.

Today, I’m blessed to have four wonderful children who share my passion for storytelling. Ours have been the story time moments so dear in my life. This deep love for stories nurtured in me the dream of creating children’s books myself. I write not only from my passion for storytelling but also with the hope of providing future generations with even more wonderful books than I had. Books that inspire, life lessons, and fire up the creativity and compassion in them.
